MOTHER'S DAY

I saw this beautiful necklace on "Pinterest" and I thought it would be a good idea as a gift for Mother's Day  , easy to do with children and with a very fashionable result, isn't it?

We made the beads with "fimo" clay, except one that is a wood bead.

(I took the beads at home to bake )

And the next day...

  Beads strung on the thread ,

 packed with a nice label, and ready!

 Every Who down in Who-ville liked Christmas a lot... But the Grinch who lived just north Who-ville did NOT! The Grinch hated Christmas! the whole Christmas season...I think that the most likely reason of all may have been that his heart was two sizes too small...

NUPTSE AND LHOTSE GO TO THE ROCKIES

My sister , Marta, is living in Canada, in Canmore , a little village at the Rocky Mountains. She bought this tale for me, thinking in my english workshop here. And she bought it directely to the writer , Jocey Asnong, so the tale is dedicated to me , and that's wonderful! Thank you Marta! and thank you Jocey!! The tale is based on a real story that happened with three black bear cubs that jumped on a train to eat grain and accidentally appeared at 30km from their home. Park wardens reunited the cubs with their mother , but a week later the cubs repeated this train ride! In this tale , Nuptse and Lhotse are in charge of find two little cubs. It's a nice story with beautiful ilustrations.

In Mallorca, we are not used to those big mountains with snow, so maybe ours are a little bit weird, hahaha!

THANKSGIVING DAY AND TURKEYS!

It's always a good day to give thanks for all the good things we have, although it's not a feast that we celebrate in Spain. But talking about american traditions and culture it's a good pretext to speak english.

BIG PUMPKIN

The witch has grown the biggest pumpkin ever, and now she wants to make herself a pumpkin pie for Halloween. But the pumpkin is so big she can't get it off the vine.
It's so big the gost can't move it , either. Neither can the vampire, nor the mummy. It looks as if there'll be no pumpkin pie for Halloween, until along comes the bat with an idea to save the day.

We made with modeling clay our "personal interpretation" of Mr. Quiet . You will see many diferent results .Some of them have become Mrs. Quiet, hahaa!!
